Read and Borrow Zines
Anyone can come to the Zine Library to read and look at zines. We're open on Sundays from 1:00 - 4:00 pm and during public events at RadStorm. During open hours you can borrow zines and use zine-making equipment. If you anticipate needing help with your research or zine-making or you want to borrow zines on another day, get in touch to make sure someone will be there to help you.
To borrow zines you must be a member and visit the Zine Library in person. You can become a lifetime member by donating $2-10 or donating a zine. You can borrow zines for 3 weeks and take out 13 at a time.
If you need to borrow more than 13 zines for a special project or workshop, please get in touch.
If you're not able to come to the library in person and want to read one of our zines, we recommend that you try to contact the zine-maker or find a copy of the zine for sale somewhere else. If you're still not able to find the zine you can email us to request a digitized copy. However, our ability to scan and send you a digital version of a zine is dependent on our resources, as we're run by volunteers. We also need to consider what the zine will be used for and if the zine-maker has given permission to digitize the zine.
The Zine Library is housed in RadStorm - an all-ages, collectively-run, not-for-profit arts and events space. For more info about the zine library space, visit the RadStorm site. If you have any questions or suggestions about accessibility of the Zine Library and our resources, please get in touch!
